It supports people in leaving hazardous areas quickly and safely. During escape, it protects the wearer for <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"782\">at least 15 minutes<\/strong> against toxic fire gases, vapors, and particles.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"1151\">The integrated <strong data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"877\">CO-P2 combination filter<\/strong> meets the requirements of <strong data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"923\">EN 403:2004<\/strong>. In addition, the filter has been tested for use against <strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"990\">H\u2082S <\/strong>according to <strong data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1011\">DIN 58647-7<\/strong>. For this reason, the Dr\u00e4ger PARAT\u00ae 5500 is suitable for industrial facilities, public buildings, and critical infrastructures<strong>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1196\">Ready for Escape in Just Three Steps<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1566\">The Dr\u00e4ger PARAT\u00ae 5500 enables <strong data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1260\">intuitive operation<\/strong>, allowing even untrained users to act safely in an emergency. As soon as the user opens the packaging, the filter plug is automatically released. The system then moves the filter independently into the operating position. Afterwards, the user puts on the hood and leaves the danger area.   <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1718\">The elastic inner head straps securely fix the hood in place. Depending on the operational environment, the device can be worn on a belt, over the shoulder, or with a clip. Alternatively, the escape hood can be mounted on a wall. At the same time, the housing protects the device against external influences.   <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2853\" data-end=\"2890\">Different Packaging Variants<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2892\"
