The Trangia Storm Cooker is a proven cooking system from Sweden. It combines a wind shield, burner, pots, and frying pan in one compact set. This keeps the system ready for use at all times – whether outdoors, on extended trips, or in emergency situations.
The set is stackable and easy to transport. In addition, it operates independently of electricity or complex technology. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for situations where reliability is essential.
Flexible Configuration for Different Requirements
At the BSSD Shop, the Trangia Storm Cooker is available as a configurable product. Users can customize the set according to their needs. Options include size, fuel type, material, and an optional kettle.
This allows the cooker to be configured for both private use and professional applications.
Two Sizes – For Every Situation
The Trangia Storm Cooker is available in two sizes.

Burner Type: Spirit or Gas
The Trangia cooker can be operated with two different burner systems.
The spirit burner works without pressure and requires no maintenance. In addition, the fuel can be stored for long periods. This makes this version particularly suitable for emergency preparedness and independent use.
The gas burner, on the other hand, provides higher output and precise flame control. Therefore, it is suitable for regular use where a reliable supply of gas cartridges is available.
Material: Four Options for Every Requirement
Trangia offers different materials that vary in weight and durability.
| UL – Ultralight | Ultralight aluminum. The lightest material in the range. Excellent heat conductivity and even heat distribution help prevent burning. 50% stronger than conventional aluminum while maintaining lower weight. Recommended entry-level option for cost-conscious users. |
| HA – Hard Anodized | Hard-anodized aluminum. Extremely scratch-resistant due to the anodizing process. No transfer of trace elements into food – food-safe and hygienic. Only slightly heavier than UL but significantly more durable. Recommended for intensive use. |
| UL/HA – Combination | Wind shield made from hard-anodized aluminum for maximum external durability, with pots made from ultralight aluminum for optimal cooking performance. The best balance of weight, protection, and cooking efficiency. Our preferred option for tactical applications. |
| DS – Duossal 2.0™ | Duossal 2.0™ combines stainless steel on the inside with aluminum on the outside. The stainless-steel interior is safe, durable, food-safe, and does not react with acidic foods. The aluminum exterior provides excellent heat conduction. Premium choice for maximum durability. |
Optional Kettle: Useful for Supply Security
The Trangia Storm Cooker is optionally available with a kettle.
With a kettle, water can be heated efficiently. This is particularly important for drinking water, hot beverages, or disinfection. Therefore, this version is a valuable option for emergency preparedness.
Without the kettle, the weight is reduced. This makes the configuration better suited for short or ultralight trips.

- Two-part wind shield with ventilation holes and foldable pot supports
- Spirit burner (SB) with simmer ring for flame adjustment OR Primus gas burner (GB)
- 2 pots (Series 25: 1.5 L + 1.75 L | Series 27: 1.0 L + 1.0 L) in the selected material
- Frying pan (also serves as lid) in the selected material
- Aluminum grip handle
- Kettle approx. 0.9 L (only with “With Kettle” version)
- Transport strap to secure the set together
