The Bunker B2 is a modular high-security shelter specifically designed for extended occupancy, larger numbers of occupants, and enhanced comfort requirements. Compared to the B0 and B1 models, the Bunker B2 is based on a multi-compartment system in which several steel modules are interconnected.
This design allows for the functional separation of living, sleeping, sanitary, and technical areas, providing a significantly higher level of security, organization, and overall usability. The bunker is suitable for private applications as well as institutional and commercial environments with elevated protection requirements.
Construction & Modular Design
The Bunker B2 is constructed from a heavy-duty S350 steel structure with a thickness of 12 mm and is built as a double-shell steel structure. This design substantially increases structural stability and resistance against mechanical impacts, external threats, and blast-related forces.
Multiple bunker modules are interconnected and separated by additional armored doors, creating a secure and clearly organized room layout. The entire exterior is fitted with perimeter insulation (thermal conductivity class WLG 025, 50 mm thickness), ensuring thermal stability and protection against environmental influences.
NBC Air Filtration & Positive Pressure System
To ensure a continuously safe air supply, the Bunker B2 is equipped with a high-capacity VA 75 NBC filtration system. This unit is designed to support multiple occupants and extended operational periods.
The bunker operates in a gas-tight environment while maintaining a controlled positive pressure through the air intake system. The filtration unit removes known chemical, biological, and nuclear contaminants with an efficiency of up to 99%. In addition, both the air intake and exhaust systems are protected by blast protection valves.
Interior Layout, Comfort & Functionality
Thanks to its modular design, the Bunker B2 features separate functional areas that enable a structured and comfortable living environment:
-
Separate living and sleeping quarters
-
Sleeping accommodations in the form of civil defense bunk beds (4 beds)
-
Provision for an integrated stainless-steel kitchenette
-
Sanitary facilities separated from the living areas
This configuration makes the Bunker B2 particularly suitable for multi-day to long-term occupancy.
Access, Security & Emergency Concept
Access between the individual modules is secured by armored doors featuring six-point locking systems, providing a high level of resistance against unauthorized entry. The segmented design further enhances security, as individual sections can be isolated and secured independently if required during an emergency.
Basic Sanitary Facilities
The Bunker B2 comes standard with a dry toilet system.
The standard supply package includes:
-
50 waste disposal bags
-
25 waste disposal bags
Optional sind erweiterte Sanitärlösungen mit Dusche, Edelstahl-WC sowie Abwasser- und Brauchwassertanks realisierbar.
