Reinforced concrete bunkers. Our reinforced concrete bunkers offer maximum protection against external threats such as explosions, break-in attempts, extreme weather events, and structural loads. They are therefore used wherever long-term security, stability, and technical reliability are of highest priority.
BSSD plans and implements these bunkers as permanent high-security structures made of high-strength reinforced concrete, which we consistently adapt to the individual security requirements of our clients. This results in solutions that go far beyond standardized protective rooms.
Construction & design
We build our reinforced concrete bunkers as monolithic reinforced concrete structures that ensure an exceptionally high level of resistance. At the same time, variable wall, ceiling, and foundation thicknesses allow precise adaptation to the respective threat scenario.
In addition, our planning is based on recognized civil protection and disaster management guidelines, ensuring that our structures meet the highest technical and structural standards. For this reason, reinforced concrete bunkers are particularly suitable for long-term and intensive use.
Individual planning & size concepts
Reinforced concrete bunkers are not standardized; they are individually designed. Possible usable areas range from approx. 30 m² to over 300 m², depending on intended use, number of occupants, and desired autonomy duration.
The room layout may include, among others:
-
Living and sleeping areas
-
Sanitary and technical rooms
-
Storage or safe areas
-
Command, work, or protective rooms
NBC protection & air supply (optional)
Upon request, bunkers can be equipped with an NBC air filtration system that provides protection against nuclear, biological, and chemical hazardous substances.
Depending on bunker size and air demand, filter systems with different performance levels are used, e.g.:
Ventilation is provided via secured supply and exhaust air systems, optionally with overpressure and explosion protection technology.
Access, security & protection systems
All access points are equipped with reinforced security or armored doors featuring multiple redundant locking systems. Additional security measures can also be integrated, such as:
-
Multi-stage access zones
-
Separated security areas
-
Mechanical and electronic access control systems
Areas of Application
Our reinforced concrete bunkers are suitable for, among others:
-
Private safe rooms and retreat spaces
-
Commercial high-security storage facilities
-
Safe and archive rooms
-
Critical infrastructure
-
Government and special applications

Consultation & Planning Note
Reinforced concrete bunkers require comprehensive technical and structural planning.
Therefore, a mandatory consultation with our specialists is required before project initiation, during which site conditions, regulatory requirements, protection objectives, and technical equipment are reviewed and coordinated.
Individual planning ensures that the bunker is implemented safely, in compliance with standards, and suitable for long-term use.
