The shelter bed is a robust and functional sleeping solution for protective shelters, emergency accommodations, and civil protection facilities. The multi-level construction enables efficient use of available ceiling height and creates a safe resting area for several people within limited floor space.
The construction is based on a stable tubular steel frame designed for long-term use under increased mechanical loads. The bed is shock-tested (basic protection level) and therefore meets essential requirements for civil protection applications. Precisely defined sleeping heights ensure stable and ergonomic use.
Thanks to its plug-in assembly design, the shelter bed can be quickly installed and dismantled. It is suitable for shelters with a minimum ceiling height of 2.0 m and can be installed individually or in groups. Multiple units can be connected using linking clips and flexibly adapted to different room layouts.
During peacetime operation, the construction can alternatively be used as a shelving or storage system, allowing additional everyday functionality.
The sleeping surfaces are made from reinforced fabric with PVC coating and are designed to be flame-retardant and low-smoke according to fire class 5.3 (EMPA). Rounded, user-friendly edges and stable connection elements reduce the risk of injury during daily operation.
