The armored hatch, manufactured according to the guidelines of the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (BABS), provides a robust and secure solution for protecting access points in safe rooms and protective structures. The armored hatch is designed as an intermediate closure for 1 bar and 3 bar protective structures and provides reliable protection against pressure effects and external mechanical loads.

Construction & Structure

• Masonry frame made of stable angle steel profiles with anchor plates for secure and permanent fixation

• Cover plate with groove and sealing rubber for reliable airtight sealing

• Welded reinforcement structure to increase stability and strength

• Lever locks with locking security mechanism for secure and tamper-resistant closure

• Anti-corrosion primer for long-term protection against corrosion

Optionally, the armored hatch can be welded and used as a formwork aid, providing an additional protective factor during the construction phase. Upon request, a coating finish is available for additional surface protection and visual integration.
