The PT1 and PT2 blast doors have been specifically developed to meet the highest security requirements for protective shelters. They provide protection against explosions, radiation, and extreme heat while complying with the strict testing standards of the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (BABS). For easier transportation, the doors are supplied as unfilled steel door assemblies and are suitable for installation in both new and existing shelters.

The doors are equipped with two lever locking mechanisms and feature a specially designed seal that prevents contaminated air from entering the shelter. Safety locking bolts protect the internal locking system against accidental opening, blast pressure, and ground shock.
