Hose Assembly NW 125 – Flexible Duct for Safe Room Ventilation Systems

The NW 125 hose assembly is used as a flexible connection within safe room ventilation systems. It is designed for VA 40, VA 75, and VA 150 systems and enables secure air routing between the fan, air ducts, and gas filter.

The assembly consists of two flexible corrugated hoses with quick couplings. This allows the ventilation system to be operated flexibly – either in direct fresh air mode or in gas filter mode with an activated ABC protection filter. This enables the airflow configuration to be quickly and reliably adapted to different operating conditions.

Function and Application

Flexible hoses perform several important functions in safe room ventilation systems. They not only connect individual components but also compensate for mechanical movements, reducing the transmission of vibrations throughout the system.

In addition, they absorb movements caused by pressure loads or shock effects. This actively contributes to the operational safety and long service life of the entire ventilation system.

Design and Material

The hose assembly is made of durable EPDM rubber in tested, chemical-agent-resistant quality. This makes it suitable for use in safe rooms with increased protection requirements.

Additionally, stainless steel mounting clamps ensure secure and permanent installation. The quick couplings allow easy installation and fast replacement during maintenance work.
