High-Performance Air Supply for Large Protective Shelters

The VA 300 ventilation system continuously supplies occupants with fresh air while reliably removing stale air. It maintains a stable oxygen level and continuously reduces the carbon dioxide concentration, creating a safe and healthy indoor climate even with high occupancy.

During normal operation, the system supplies fresh outside air. In an emergency, operators can quickly and easily switch the system to gas filtration mode. By disconnecting the flexible hoses, filtered air becomes immediately available, providing protection against contaminated outside air.

Standards, Certification, and Type Approval

The VA 300 ventilation system is manufactured according to the guidelines of the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (BABS) and has been type-tested by the Armament Group of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (VBS).

Approval (manufacturer-dependent): BZS T 01-002, BZS T 83-010

The specific approval depends on the design and manufacturer. BSSD ensures that only tested and approved systems are supplied.

Design, integration, and system compatibility

The VA 300 is designed for large protective shelters and can be operated as a standalone unit or combined with additional systems. A shared air intake with explosion protection valves and an integrated air filter ensures safe operation under all conditions.

Standard Equipment and Emergency Operation

The VA 300 ventilation system operates electrically and can be operated manually in the event of a power failure. The integrated dynamo also supplies the 5-watt emergency lighting, ensuring safe operation at all times.

In the event of a power outage, the system can be operated manually, while the integrated emergency lighting is powered by the dynamo.
